 A returning client from Walton contacted me about their garden gate, which didn’t have a proper lock and felt insecure — particularly with the property being close to a busy road. 

 On arrival, I assessed the gate and discussed locking options with the customer. Although I had a lock in stock, it wasn’t the correct key/key version needed, so a suitable model had to be ordered for fitting the next day. I also spotted that the bottom hinge was misaligned, stopping the gate from meeting the stop correctly. 

 The following day, with the correct lock in hand, I fitted it professionally. Before installation, I repositioned the bottom hinge to ensure proper alignment, then completed the lock fitting to meet the customer’s security needs. 

 The gate now locks securely, aligns correctly, and gives the customer peace of mind. Another happy returning client.
